Traditional English Longbows

I produce a range of laminated longbows in the traditional English D style, ideal for target or field archers and medieval re-enactors.

My longbows comply with British Longbow Society (BLBS) rules and can be produced to your specified draw weight, draw length and overall length using a wide variety of traditional and exotic woods in 3, 4 or 5 laminate structure, with a selection of nocks, handles and strings.

My custom bow designer allows you to enter your desired specification, preview the bow, get an instant quote and submit your order.

About Myself

Having moved to semi-retirement, over recent years I have established my business - Yew Tree Archery, giving me the opportunity to continue my skills and passion for working with the many traditional and exotic varieties of woods from around the world.

A wood craftsman of over 35 years experience with further skills and qualifications in training and development For the 3 years prior to Yew Tree Archery I worked for a local charity managing the workshop, developing English longbows and training others in the skills and techniques of making them.
