Although technically a grass, Bamboo is traditionally used for bow construction in the Far East.
Although difficult to work with in production it’s excellent flexibility, durability tension and whip make Bamboo a particulary desirable back for the laminated longbow producing a bow with superior speed and cast.
The nodes are left proud for a unique appearance and to maximise strength.
